Personal Investment in Lone Tree
My wife Carol and I have been married for 35 years. We raised our twin daughters in Douglas County, and today we are proud grandparents of two young girls.
We moved to Lone Tree in 2018 and purchased our home in The Enclave the following year. Soon I was elected to the Enclave HOA Board of Directors.
To better serve the city, I applied for a seat on the Planning Commission, and was appointed to that position by City Council in 2022. I was elected Vice Chairman in 2023, and Chairman in 2024 - the office I currently hold.
Throughout my life I have been active in service organizations, including church leadership, Rotary Club, mission work in Guatemala, and nonprofit Board of Directors. I currently serve on the Board of Directors and as Treasurer for Betts Vets, a nonprofit serving military veterans.
My experience as an engineer, business leader, entrepreneur, and Planning Commission Chairman gives me the tools to evaluate development proposals carefully, understand infrastructure needs, and ensure that decisions serve the long-term interests of our residents.
I have always believed in being a participant, not an observer. I am ready to put a lifetime of experience to work — full time — for you, the citizens of Lone Tree.
