GLENN HERTZLER
For Lone Tree City Council - District 2

  • Lone Tree Experience

  • Corporate Leadership

  • Committed to Serve

As Chairman of the Lone Tree Planning Commission, eight-year Lone Tree resident, an engineer, business leader, and entrepreneur, I bring decades of experience to the decisions facing our city. Now, after the successful sale of my company, I have the time to dedicate my full attention to serving Lone Tree and preserving the character of the community we all love.

Your Priorities are My Priorities

Like you, I value safety, open space, quality development, fiscal integrity, open two-way communication, and the unique character that brought us to Lone Tree.

There are reasons Lone Tree has the trails and open space we enjoy, the safe and quiet streets we appreciate, and the businesses that complement our community. Twenty-five years ago, city leaders made thoughtful decisions that shaped the city we live in today. We are the beneficiaries of that forethought and planning.

Now it’s our turn to carry that responsibility forward — to make thoughtful decisions today so that 25 years from now, neighbors will still be saying, “Lone Tree is a great place to live. I love it here."

As your Lone Tree City Council Member, I will:

Preserve the Character of Lone Tree
Lone Tree is a community of neighborhoods. I will preserve the

qualities that brought us here — safe neighborhoods, high-quality

development, and a strong sense of community.

Ensure Thoughtful Growth and Development
Our city is growing quickly, and it must be managed carefully. With my experience as Chairman of the Planning Commission and my engineering background, I will ensure development is well planned, responsibly built, and beneficial to our residents.

Demand Fiscal Responsibility
As a business owner and executive, I spent decades managing budgets, negotiating contracts, and balancing competing priorities. I will bring that same financial discipline to City Council decisions.

Maintain Safe, Livable Neighborhoods
Families should feel comfortable letting their children walk or bike in our neighborhoods. Public safety and quality of life are a top priority.

Lead Collaboration That Benefits Lone Tree
Many large projects — parks, open space, recreation facilities, and infrastructure — require strong partnerships with developers, Douglas County, and neighboring communities. My career experience working with multiple organizations will help ensure those partnerships are solid and benefit Lone Tree.

Listen to You

Strong communities depend on communication and trust. I will maintain open and frequent communication with residents and listen carefully to the concerns and ideas of our community.
